Elevator Operations Specialist

 
Eastern Farmers Coop has an opportunity for an Elevator Operations Specialists located in Brandon, S.D.  This position has the opportunity for growth.
 
Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all elevator operations.
• Unloading grain and loading trucks and train cars.
• Monitor and maintain quality of inventory.
• Regulate and periodic housecleaning processes and record keeping.
• Maintain and records on all elevator equipment including legs, conveyors, grain cleaner, vehicles and all facility equipment.
• General work around the facility.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers when needed.
• Observe and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Duties may involve work in other departments; Energy, Agronomy, or Feed.
• Other duties as assigned by managementmay include work at other CHS locations.

 
Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• CDL- or ability to get CDL
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb rail cars, ladders, stairs and bins.
• Ability to operate loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile.
• Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Farming background
• Grain handling experience
• Elevator experience
