What is the Opportunity?

Director, SubLedger Value Optimization, Accounts and Liquidity. The role will lead product strategy, design, and development to build out the Accounts & Liquidity product suite to meet the needs of our global client base in the Cash Management business. This role will work closely with key stakeholders and partners to build alignment of Accounts & Liquidity product and client strategy, then develop product designs and roadmaps to execute on the strategy. This role will collaborate with Technology partners to ensure successful build of system capabilities, and work with Sales partners to roll out the product capability to clients. This role will also work closely with Treasury and Finance stakeholders to manage product profitability metrics such as FTP and ensure meeting the bank's balance sheet and profitability goals for USCM.

What will you do?

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop product strategy, roadmap and design; work with key partner groups to build and deliver new products on roadmap for Accounts & Liquidity
  • Ensure strategy aligns with organization and department goals as well as supports client experience and needs.
  • Obtain buy-in and support from various key stakeholders - including senior management, partners, and committees.
  • Manage product profitability metrics such as FTP for various new products with Treasury and Finance partners.
  • Determine and manage pricing for new products, including standard pricing and exceptions.
  • Develop reporting and presentation for business and financial reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Determine and manage Sales incentives for Account & Liquidity products.
  • Manage and train junior talent within Accounts & Liquidity team.
  • Support sales teams in product training and collateral needs

What do you need to succeed?

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Knowledge

  • Accounts & Liquidity Products covering both on-balance sheet deposit options and Off-balance sheet liquidity options.
  • Short term money market instruments, interest rates, and yield curves
  • Bank treasury and FTP management
  • Relevant Banking regulations regarding liquidity and balance sheet management

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills and proven record of leading teams
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage business partners outside of liquidity solutions and navigate a highly matrixed environment.
  • Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written
  • Translates broad corporate strategies into clear, specific objectives and plans for units and businesses.

Competencies

  • A proven track record of developing and executing strategies across multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Banking Products and Services
  • Ability to Balance Competing Priorities / Effective Time Management

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
  • Prior experience in Liquidity Product Management preferred
  • Experience in executing projects/strategies across multiple stakeholders
  • A firm grasp of specific trends impacting the banking industry with an overlay of knowledge of broader macro-economic trends
  • 10+ years of experience in Liquidity product management or a related field; 5+ years of successively responsible leadership positions within a financial institution

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $210,000- $250,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
