Shifts Available and Hours: Dayshift or Nightshift

Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday

7:00am to 3:00pm or 11:00pm to 7:00am

Shift Premium: Night shift - $1.00/hour extra

Bonus: Sign on Bonus $500.00

Referral Program $1000.00

JobSummary:

The Extrusion Press Leader will oversee press operations, including safety, training, housekeeping, quality control and performance counseling of press crews. Additionally, they will be responsible for die/profile optimization.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year manufacturing experience
  • Ability to understand and deliver basic commands in English

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
  • Effective/professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
  • Knowledge of operating/database systems; Oracle and SCS-preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to lead a larger team

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a production crew to safely optimize press uptime, scrap rates, productivity, and performance
  • Verify product dimensions, finish, and quality in relation to customer print, tolerance, and internal expectations.
  • Develop and train crew and new team members
  • Ensures proper operation of equipment and communicate downtime events to supervisors
  • Conduct daily meetings to address safety, production, and housekeeping issues
  • Update and maintain daily production board information
  • Make recommendations to die/profile optimization
  • Monitor operating supplies to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Manage audits and enforce safety and housekeeping policies
  • Cross-train employees, to cover all positions when needed
