Overview

Post Trade stack in Rates and Credit is a suite of applications responsible for Trade Capture (both - voice and electronic), Trade Lifecycle processing and data distribution to different consumers. Stack is at heart of Investment Banking (IB) function for Fixed Income trading because it provides central place for traders to know what they have traded, what is their position and monitor risks on the back of this data. We're in process of replacing previous generation of the stack with the one based on years of experience in both Trade Life Cycle and Technology. We are looking for skilled Automation QA who will focus on test automation area: improving infrastructure, test designs and help reducing test automation debt. You will work as a part of a feature team on end-to-end delivery in a complex system, containing multiple in bound and outbound interfaces.

What You'll Do

  • Design auto test approach for the platform that has multiple different integrations

  • Implement changes in our automated testing infrastructure including continuous integration/continuous deployment or development (CI/CD)

  • Test cases design and automation (Language: Java; Frameworks needed: Junit5, Cucumber, Selenide, Spring, Rest Assured)

  • Manual feature testing (would be still a part of your responsibilities as a way to stay in close connection with platform and end users)

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT): setting up the environment, showing users how to use the platform, gathering issues, and tracking their resolution

  • Participate in parts of manual regression before the release to stay connected to the platform

Skills You'll Need

  • Experience in Software Quality Assurance, in test case and test plan development, in using Test Automation frameworks: Junit5, Cucumber, REST Assured, Selenide, Mockito, in setting up CI/CD process (TeamCity/Jenkins is preferable), and in using *nix systems

  • Good understanding of QA theory and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices

  • Skilled in Test Automation on Java

  • Source code control systems (GIT is preferable)

  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Experience in working with distributed teams

  • Experience with Agile SDLC

  • Understanding of investment banking systems and processes

  • Bloomberg TOMS a plus

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
