|Description||The Marketing Coordinator is a hands-on professional responsible for supporting marketing program activities including proposal organization, development and production; providing graphic / multimedia support for proposals and client meetings; and developing and maintaining marketing materials and information. These efforts require a significant amount of self-directed research, technical writing, and creative thinking.|
Specific responsibilities include:
*Proposals: actively manage the proposal development process from start to finish by consistently applying HDR's client analysis and capture planning process. Carefully evaluate technical content to ensure that it satisfies the RFP requirements and evaluation criteria, prepare qualifications materials specific to solicitations, write / edit proposal sections, and independently evaluate and clarify client requests prior to submitting.
*Graphics / Multimedia Support: Strong graphic design skills and use of other media to present HDR to clients through proposals and related marketing collateral.
*Information / Databases: Maintain marketing databases, resumes, project descriptions, and qualifications to support client and program development activities.
|Requirements||*Associates degree minimum; Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism is preferred.|
*Minimum of 1 year document layout and production experience.
*Mastery of Adobe InDesign and MS Office products (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
*Strong creative / graphic design skills and use of other media in marketing proposals, presentations and related collateral materials.
*Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
*A team player with the good communication and collaboration skills; ability to work under tight deadlines with diplomacy is essential.
*Proven writing and editing skills.
*Previous work experience in the engineering / architecture field or the Federal market with Defense and Civilian agencies is a plus.
